Ballet Nacional de Cuba
Started her ballet training at the Alejo Carpentier Provincial Ballet School in Havana and finished at the National Ballet School in 1996. Her teachers included, among others, Ramona de Saa, Martha Iris Fernandez, Alina Diaz and Liz Rios.
During her training period she won important prizes in competitions, including Gold Medal and Prize for Best Couple at the First International Competition of Ballet Academies in Havana, Silver Medal at the competition sponsored by the Cuban Society of Artists and Writers in 1995, Gold Medal and Special Prize for Best Technique, Artistry and Style at the Second International Competition of Ballet Academies in 1996, Silver Medal and Prize for Best Couple at the XVII Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria, 1996 with Yosvani Ramos.
As a student, she performed in different cities in Italy and Mexico with glowing reviews.
After graduation, she joined the Ballet Nacional de Cuba, under the direction of Prima Ballerina Assoluta Alicia Alonso, performing in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
From 1999 to 2001 she joined the Jeune Ballet de France, directed by Robert Bertier, performing major roles in romantic and classical ballets as well as in contemporary works of Cuban and foreign choreographers.

Alicia Alonso, Josefina Mendez, Loipa Araujo, Lazaro Carreño, and Svetlana Ballester have coached Miss Delgado at the Ballet Nacional de Cuba and performed in choreographies by Alberto Mendez and Ivan Tenorio.
At the Jeune Ballet de France with Elizabeth Plattel, Jean Paul Gravier, Christian Bakalov and Nicolas Musin.
